Brexit is Coming: Question Time

Question Time-inspired panel discussion with experts from the Creative Industries Federation, Creative Europe Desk, the British Film Institute, major cultural organisations and exhibitors. The panellists will take questions from the audience, suggest how Brexit might impact (positively or negatively) on the sector and what opportunities you should be looking to capitalise on.

ANNA KIME is a freelance consultant specialising in audience development, bid writing and evaluation. She enjoys working with people and developing creative solutions in a wide range of settings. Previously Anna set up Film Hub North and co-founded This Way Up. Anna is also a practicing artist and based in Sheffield.

SUSAN PICKEN is the Director of the Cathedral Quarter Trust, a cultural regeneration agency based in Belfast’s historic Cathedral Quarter. Amongst other projects the Trust delivers the annual Culture Night – Belfast’s largest free cultural event with annual audiences of 100,000+. Prior to this, Susan worked in the film exhibition sector for almost 20 years and most recently was head of the Queen’s Film Theatre, Northern Ireland’s only dedicated arthouse cinema, from 2008 to 2017.

JACK POWELL is a Senior Policy Analyst at the British Film Institute, where he covers issues including access to talent and funding, cluster development and diversity and inclusion. He previously worked at the Creative Industries Federation.
